A couple of years ago my husband came home from his new job and told me about the chili cook-off that is held there every year. I was intrigued but I had one problem. I don’t like chili. Not too surprising, huh?
So I set out to study chili recipes and Three Bean Shredded Beef Chili is what I came up with. We swept the awards that year, winning People’s Choice & the Top Prize. You can see a picture of my hubby with his prize below the recipe. Unfortunately he kept my his plaque at work.
Chicken Noodle Casserole is the perfect comfort food on a cold day. It is a creamy noodle confection with a buttery, crunchy topping. Chicken Noodle Casserole makes a nice dish for a potluck. If you’re into freezer meals, prep an extra casserole in a freezable dish (seal well!). Just thaw and cook as directed.
When it comes to the pig, I can admit to being a big fan. Bacon, sausage, and ham are just a few of my favorite food groups *wink*. In my opinion, you can never have too many ham recipes. This packs a big punch for such a small recipe.
This became one of my favorite ways to serve ham with the very first bite. Although I prefer a large ham for Christmas and Easter, it makes for a nice Sunday dinner without the fuss.
